Lee has over nine years’ experience of working in the heritage sector, since graduating from the University of Glamorgan in 2006, and is based in Heritage Architecture’s Manchester office where he is researching and advising on a number of historic sites and buildings in the north west, and preparing supporting material for planning applications. 

Lee has comprehensive experience of preparing heritage reports and conducting historic research, and has a proven track record of architectural appraisals in the urban and rural environment with specific capabilities in assessing significance and historic development of buildings/structures.

Currently, Lee is working on a range of projects in the north-west for both private and public clients. These include assisting on assessing the significance/design of the world’s first purpose-built railway station hotel in Manchester, and has recently completed a heritage survey of the Grade I listed Manchester Town Hall and its original furniture for Manchester City Council. Lee’s passion for historic buildings and social history extends to his free time where he likes to collect retro mid-century collectables and jazzy shirts.
