Architect and Archaeologist with a specialisation in Heritage Conservation and architectural history, Shantanu completed his Bachelors in Architecture at the University of Mumbai and went on to work with a Conservation practice based in Mumbai. This experience led him to pursue his MA in Archaeology at the Deccan College (Pune, India), for which he was awarded the Gold Medal.
As a Charles Wallace India Trust Scholar 2016, Shantanu travelled to the UK to study Conservation at the University of Edinburgh and graduated with a distinction and was awarded the George Simpson Architectural Conservation Prize. He pursued his internship at Heritage Architecture Ltd. from September to December 2017 and has been working full time since the beginning of 2018 as Architectural Conservation Consultant. He is also a keen traveller and biking enthusiast with a penchant for photography.
